DLS Beer Needed!
Workout Schedule at Idlewild Pool, Summer 2025
SNM will be swimming LCM at Idlewild Pool through Labor Day.
No workout is scheduled for Saturday, August 9, 2025, due to SNM hosting the Donner Lake Swim. Volunteers needed.

Request for Beer Donations
| We are quickly approaching our annual Donner Lake Swim. As the committee chairman of the beer donation campaign, the DLS humbly requests your contributions. As a committee of one, I am estimating we need 240 beers for the event. That translates to 10 cases of canned beer. The DLS is asking for a wide variety of beers to satisfy many tastes and palates. I have received requests for non-alcoholic (NA) beer as well. Here is a short list and by no means exclusive of what we need: 1 case of Coors Light cans 1 case of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale cans or other exotic flavors produced by Sierra Brewing Company 1 case of NA beer, cans 1 case of Kona Brewing Company beer, i.e., Longboard, Kona Big Wave Golden Ale, cans A twelve pack of Michelob Ultra, cans, otherwise known as “Mickey Slims” Cases of canned exotic, craft, or lesser-known beers Kombucha Beers do not have to be cold. We will have ice and ice chests at the DLS. I (Rich Wait) will be at Idlewild Pool at these SNM workouts to receive your donations: Tuesday, August 5, Wednesday, August 6, Thursday, August 7, and Friday, August 8.
